Nos Bandera is a social organization based on the enrichment of Cape Verdean youth.
We encourage social growth and personal development through the active use of sports as positive motivator. We teach our youth to work collectively and bring those skills back to their everyday lives. This newly acquired knowledge united with dexterity will only help these young men and women in school, work and other social situations.
We pride ourselves in motivating the youth into being productive, responsible citizens for our community.
Now children that have interest in soccer or any type of positive socialization can be taught the basics of the sport and play it well. We will begin to provide the building blocks to occupy the youths time in a positive manner. This creates a stronger community by presenting an alternative to street violence, gangs and assisting us in taking our children off the streets.
